Manual Reciprocal Request Process
This option is available when the home council uses the AdaptOneTM system, but the reciprocal council is on a different system. In this method, the MBE profile is sent from the home council to the reciprocal council. This automates the data transfer and the validation required by the reciprocal council in order to provide proof that the applicant is an active MBE. When using this method, the reciprocal council may still require some additional steps from the MBE, for example, a reciprocal service application. Please check with the reciprocal council for details.

Step 1 - Fill out the Reciprocal Service Request Form |
The first step is to choose the Affiliate Council where you want to apply for reciprocal service. Then, complete the online Reciprocal Service Request Form. |
Step 2 - Submit Online Reciprocal Service Request Form |
Once you have completed the online request form, you are ready to submit the request. When you click on "Submit Request", the system will automatically email your MBE profile to the affiliate council portal. The email will contain the information necessary for the Affiliate Council to process your reciprocal service application. You should receive an email confirmation to verify that your reciprocal service request was submitted. |
Step 3 - Apply for Reciprocal Service from the Affiliate Council |
Your MBE profile has been sent to the Affiliate Council. Now you must apply for reciprocal service status with the Affiliate. Affiliate Councils may vary in their reciprocal service application, so please visit their web site or contact them directly for specific instructions. |
