About Us
The MBDA Business Center-Chicago is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and is operated by the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (ChicagoMSDC), a premier organization that for over 40 years has been dedicated to the development of Minority Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs).
MBDA is the only federal agency created specifically to foster the establishment and growth of minority owned businesses in America. MBDA is an entrepreneurially focused and innovative organization committed to wealth creation in minority communities.
Our Mission
The primary mission of the MBDA Business Center-Chicago is to provide opportunity identification services for contracts and financing that positively impacts the business and ownership opportunities for minority business enterprises.
Our Strategy
Realizing the value of relationships, the MBDA Business Center-Chicago works to form alliances with local, state, and federal government agencies, major corporations and the minority business community. This enables us to be readily responsive to requests to identify MBEs for opportunities.
